The Genesis of GodSmoke
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Gen. 1:26-27.
With us being created in the image of God, it is our duty to rule over the Earth. We were created to have dominion, or rulership, over all living creatures as kings and queens. GodSmoke was created to represent those who conquer, those who create, and those who are not intimidated to step up and command spirits as Kings and Queens do. Once the greatness within you is unlocked, your presence will begin to change your surroundings. People notice the spiritual pressure, that light in the midst of darkness, which is so bright that it attracts and leads people out of the darkness. This is why GodSmoke Apparel was created. To wear fierce, bold images of wild animals, nature, Earth/Wind/Water/Fire, skulls, and more that represents the realm which we are born into. It is to become spiritually elevated and connect with The Most High. You can’t have smoke without FIRE! So kings, queens, and all those who are conquer…Welcome To The Wild!
Sterlo (Sterling) Smoke is a former D1 student athlete from Bessemer, Alabama. Upon graduating with his Master’s degree in Sports Administration and completing his collegiate football career at Arkansas State University, there was a new and unexpected calling on Sterlo’s life. He soon reconnected with his childhood passion of reading and this was the beginning of a newfound relationship with The Most High. After researching his heritage and lineage he became inspired to create. With the help of some of his closet friends, colleagues, teammates, and connections GodSmoke Apparel came into fruition. Not only was GodSmoke created, other skills were added such as website design, custom apparel drop shipping, photography and videography, content creation, and audio mixing and mastering which came from research and study. The journey was not easy, but instead of taking the path of least resistance, we remain strong, confident, and faithful knowing that God will keep us protected as we walk on the straight and narrow path towards the KINGDOM!
A wise king accepts counsel and you are only as great as the people you are surrounded by. Sterlo could not have gotten this far without keeping God First and allowing the team to EAT. Thank you all for supporting and continue to remain spiritually elevated!
How I handle life is with a “Student Forever” mentality. I come with an open mind and open heart in order to receive instruction and be able to gain wisdom from all resources. This approach has helped me to remain humble while being coachable. From being a student with The Most High as my schoolmaster, to being an athlete learning techniques from my coach, to learning from industry professionals, this mindset is what carries me through life on a daily basis.” – Sterlo Smoke
